A lifelong resident of the northwest, I have painted many years to develop a style that will do justice to the vast landscape of Montana.From a show at the Governor's Mansion in Helena to a first place in oils at the MonDak Heritage Art Center in Sidney, Montana, I hope to bring my art to another level by painting larger and raising the emotions of viewers.Over the years, various workshops with nationally known artists such as Clyde Aspevig, Robert Bateman, Carl Brenders and John Seerey-Lester have not only been inspirational, but have havd long lasting influences on developing my individual style. All of the workshops lasted several days and were an educational pleasure. The very essence and intensity of each day's lesson were the basics for all art.
